I was craving Indian food so went to this place without checking the reviews online. Once inside I was curious to check out the reviews and was surprised to see so many 1-star reviews and responses by the owner that seemed at the very least rude or aggressive. But regardless, The staff were kind and attentive. Service was fast! the food was great! Very delicious and in large portions. We tried a few of the vegetarian dishes, biryani, thali, and samosas. I recommend this place and will definitely come back here if ever wanted Indian food in Harrison Hot Springs. The music videos on the tv were also very entertaining! Recommendation to the social media manager: I would probably not respond to comments right after reading them. Maybe have a mango lassi and come back?!
I have visited many Indian restaurants in Vancouver and Surrey but I am genuinely surprised and amazed by the unique flavour profile of the chicken biriyani and palak paneer in Royal King Indian restaurant. The naan is so airy and fragrant that we ordered a second round. The waiter/owner is also very friendly and provided everything we need to. I am happy with every single cents spent and tipped here
Reached Harrison on an impromptu plan, but I guess it was for a reason. The food at royal king! We had been craving for makki ki roti and sarson ka saag for long, and we saw a board outside the restaurant that led us to walk inside the place. There was this sweet uncle aunty to welcome us. And then came the food! Sooo delicious and filling, yet I had to order another makki ki roti, because even though my stomach was full, my heart had space for one more. And it wasn’t just us, uncle aunty had their lunch of makki ki roti sarson ka saag too since the chefs were making it hot and they got the cravings too! Worth a try!
I visited here today with my two other friends and we order Gobhi Parantha and Cholle Bhutare, which came out so delicious. Also, staff is very friendly and welcoming. Will visit here every time I will come to visit Harrison or surrounding areas.
DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! OK So as an Indian myself I can tell you that this food is amazing and close to my mum’s home cooked meal as you get! The two ladies running the place are so genuinely lovely and kind. Sure the price is a little bit on the higher side but so is all good places on the strip as I’m sure rents are crAzY. ENJOY!

Wow! Just 1 block from the waterfront lies this lovely family owned and operated restaurant! I LVE Indian cuisine and I’ve been gluten free for many years, which means, mostly, no Naan for me. Well, tonight I had Makki ke Roti it’s corn based and GLUTEN FREE....and OH my, what a treat! I could have eaten three, it’s was sooo good! I also had their chicken tikka masala, a dish I know well- it was superb! Mango lassi was just right My husband had a Thali which was new to us! I would describe it as similar to a bento box or sample plate. Yum! It had tandoori chicken piecesricecurrynaandessert. Don’t sleep on this place, it’s delicious, charming, and full of good vibes.
Authentic Indian restaurant! My boyfriend and I shared a gol gappi (Indian street food) for appetizer and it tasted amazing! He got the butter chicken platter and I got the vegetarian platter. The curry in both tasted amazing and super authentic. Their dinner menus for dine in seemed to be missing pages that the takeout menu had as options I was really confused when I only saw vegetarian curry as main dishes, otherwise probs would've ordered 2 main curries and got some Naan bread!
